Store Focus: The Wardrobe

So I am supposed to be watching my money.
I am watching it.
I am watching it disappear from my bank account.
On saturday, me and two of my girlies visited a little shop I had heard about called The Wardrobe.

It is in West Derby Village in Liverpool, hidden away down a cute little alley.

This is no regular store though ladies.

This is designer fashion - but at a very cheap price.

The story goes like this: You donate your old designer wear and when it is sold, you get 20% of the sale.

Alas, (I have been using the word Alack - clearly this is not a word as my Mum and brother's girlfriend corrected me yesterday - oops.) there are rails and rails of beautiful clothes from designers such as Chloe, Temperley, Missoni, Matthew Williamson, Christian Louboutin, Prada, Antik Batik.. Dare I list any more?!

The shop itself is so cute, complete with a mini beauty salon!

The owner of The Wardrobe has worked in beauty for 15 years, namely Bobbi Brown.

Liverpool girls, get down there - this place is a gem!

I bought the following two items.

Kate Moss for Topshop dress - £14

See by Chloe dress for £40!

I've taken photos and "merchandised them up" as Carrie says.

I've styled the Chloe dress with my Russell and Bromley Brogues and some patent leather shoe boots and a cream and black jacket from H+M which I bought to take to Paris with me.

The Kate Moss dress is with a black (p)leather jacket from Topshop and some battered old Converse.

  1. Oh that shop sounds FAB! Loves the Chole Dress. The Jacket from H&M is i loves too x

  2. The shop sounds wicked!!!! Great purchases. x

  3. That is a very very nice jacket!!!

  4. The Kate Moss for TopShop pansy dress for £14?? You're kidding! I think I must've paid like 4 times as much for it last summer! Was definitely worth it though, it is so cute and I got many a summer wear out of it!

Much love. x
