Being ill is poo.

Over the past few days I have had the sniffles big time. It's so annoying! I just haven't had the energy to write.
I'm putting up a few photos of my birthday, and some little goodies I've bought with some birthday money.

First off,
My brother was generous enough to give me a gift card for American Apparel, so I bought a much needed new hoody. My first one is what, nearly a year and a half old, and now I've got four in different colours, including the long hooded dress in purple which is just gorge. Anyway, so I got this bright pink one, which I just love! How nice is the colour?! I hung it with a t shirt I found in TK Maxx the other day for a tenner, which is so cute! It's got crystals all over it, it's kinda tacky but the good kind of tacky. Not sure on the make of it, but it's pretty sweet. When I was in there I saw soo many David and Goliath tees too, which are so cool! Get involved with them!
Above is a little photo of a couple of Mac products I've got recently, Well Dressed Blush, which is so lovely! Very subtle, and really shimmery, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark. I also got a concealer and the make up artist was kind enough to give me a little tester of the Mineralize foundation too. Bottom left of the photo are some earrings and ring from Primark, and the headband was from American Apparel.

Next up, is a pretty lovely amount of Clinique products to be given on one day. My mum got me all this for a birthday prezzy. She bought the soap bar, clarifying lotion and skin clearing moisturiser and got the eye make up remover, spf moisturiser, concealer, mascara and powder free. I've been doing the 3 step routine since Saturday, and it's kinda drying my skin out, which I guess is a semi-good thing. The lady told my mum that if I stick to this routine, I should have no spots. Which sounds amazing.

And finally, here are the speakers my boyfriend got me as part of his present to me.

I need your honest opinion

Spring is here, and I need a new hair do! But I don't want to make it a hair don't! So this is something I'm thinking about trying...

My Dad just put me off by saying "It looks like you've parted your hair with an axe." Yeh good job he's going home tomorrow.

My new bright whites!

How good do new converse look?!

Vivienne Westwood Prezzies

Got these little beauties for my birthday. First off, the Vivienne Westwood Wallet from my Mum, picked out by me. Just classic, simple, black wallet that's never going to date. Loves it.

Vivienne Westwood Belt ring from my girlies. I actually LOVE LOVE LOVE this ring, it's actually amazing. I so would have picked it, and it goes so well with my Tag watch and my Links Sweetheart bracelet. I'd take a photo of it, but my ring finger's nail broke off last week and it looks gross.

St Tropez or Fake Bake?!

I found a bottle of St. Tropez in TK Maxx yesterday for £10 which I think is pretty good is it? Anyway, my Mum bought me a Fake Bake kit for Christmas, and I have to say that Fake Bake is the best fake tan I've ever used. It's so easy to apply, and the instant colour is great, and can be used for instant tanning and of course it builds up over a few hours. I've had no problems with it, but when I spotted that little bargain of the St. Tropez I thought I'd get involved and see how it goes.

I am meant to be doing work today because I'm not in college but I just can't focus! I've set up my iPhone, iPhone speakers, Time Capsule and my Mighty Mouse, as well as tidying, and now I'm probably going to test this fake tan out! Argh!!

Is there an iPhone App for

Can anybody help here?! x x x

I love your Blog!

Now I'm nobody to go out dishing rewards on prizes for good blogs, because what do I know!? But I just thought I'd send out a little love to some of my Glossy Posse.

First off, is Daisy, from Daisy Doesn't Always Know Best

Her blogs are always so cute and colourful and actually always make me smile.

Next, is Emma from A Fashion Saga,

Emma is my little Uni buddy braving it in the fashion world and still manages to fit in lectures from fashion designers and has time to pour over every day.

And Finally,
I am really embarrassed to say this, but I don't know her name! I'm just going to have to call her Doll, from the Droll Doll House.

I really like her blogs, they're interesting and fun at the same time. Plus she was the first ever blog I followed, and maybe even my first follower!

So here you go girlies...

Make Up Haul

Hi Guys!
Thought I'd do a little make up haul while I've got a free afternoon.
Now this is a bit of a different make up haul, because all of these products are from..wait for it... primark! I got some little bits n bobs last week because I was returning some things, and all the featured products were £1 each. I think you can afford to experiment with make up from there because it is so cheap! And a couple of them I've started using every day!

So here we have the Face Highlighter and Cheek and Lip tint which are a copy of the Benefit High Beam and Moon Beam products.
I was really surprised at these two items, the highlighter is a nice thick consistency, and you don't need to use much at all, and it spreads out nicely to make a thin layer on your cheeks, brow bone etc.
The Cheek and Lip tint was really nice too, and the colour stays on your lips; it's a nice base to put a clear/pinky lipgloss on top of it, and works nicely on cheeks to then build up and put regular blush on top.

Next up is a little eye shadow Duo in White and Charcoal. I was really impressed with the charcoal, it is a really matt colour with slight shimmery pigments which is perfect for smoky eyes.
The white wasn't as good, I think a couple of layers are needed, but if you are just after a light wash of white then this would be fine. But hey, what can you expect for £1?

These two little pots come together, and yes guess what, are only one pound for both of them! They are about the same size as the Barry M pots and a lot cheaper (yes I know Barry M is cheap too!)
So the black is really pigmented, it has a dark base and is packed with shimmer too.
The pink is soo bright! I don't think I would use it as an eye shadow, but maybe try to mix it with a light colour powder as a really light blush? Both of them have really good staying power! Really good coverage!

That's it for photos and reviews for the Opia make up, but I will tell you about one more product which I absolutely swear by. It is a blusher, but it is a peachy/baby pink colour, and it is perfect to lightly dust over your cheeks and brow bone. I use my Mac 187 Blending brush to blend it in with my regular Blush. But when I was in Primark the other day they didn't have any anywhere! So I'm worried I've told too many people about it and it's all sold out!

My first outfit post!

Still not loving the idea of taking and posting loads of photos of myself!!

Dress- American Apparel
Hoody- American Apparel
Necklace- Urban Outfitter
Ring- Primark

Barry M 279 Bright Pink

I'm sorry but this colour is just gorgeous!
I've had problems with Barry M before, I'm not sure about the rest of you but I always found that it chipped pretty quickly, or there was no even coat with the initial coat.. but this one has been a lot better! I'm so happy with it! And how much are they? What, £4? Amazing. It's a real Barbie Pink. I love it.
