Being ill is poo.

Over the past few days I have had the sniffles big time. It's so annoying! I just haven't had the energy to write.
I'm putting up a few photos of my birthday, and some little goodies I've bought with some birthday money.

First off,
My brother was generous enough to give me a gift card for American Apparel, so I bought a much needed new hoody. My first one is what, nearly a year and a half old, and now I've got four in different colours, including the long hooded dress in purple which is just gorge. Anyway, so I got this bright pink one, which I just love! How nice is the colour?! I hung it with a t shirt I found in TK Maxx the other day for a tenner, which is so cute! It's got crystals all over it, it's kinda tacky but the good kind of tacky. Not sure on the make of it, but it's pretty sweet. When I was in there I saw soo many David and Goliath tees too, which are so cool! Get involved with them!
Above is a little photo of a couple of Mac products I've got recently, Well Dressed Blush, which is so lovely! Very subtle, and really shimmery, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark. I also got a concealer and the make up artist was kind enough to give me a little tester of the Mineralize foundation too. Bottom left of the photo are some earrings and ring from Primark, and the headband was from American Apparel.

Next up, is a pretty lovely amount of Clinique products to be given on one day. My mum got me all this for a birthday prezzy. She bought the soap bar, clarifying lotion and skin clearing moisturiser and got the eye make up remover, spf moisturiser, concealer, mascara and powder free. I've been doing the 3 step routine since Saturday, and it's kinda drying my skin out, which I guess is a semi-good thing. The lady told my mum that if I stick to this routine, I should have no spots. Which sounds amazing.

And finally, here are the speakers my boyfriend got me as part of his present to me.

  1. Lovely purchases! You spent your birthday money well. That ring is really cute.. I can't believe it's from Primark! :) x

  2. I use the clinique 3 step also.
I like it, but it's pricey and I see the same (and sometimes better) results when I use Cetaphil anti-bacterial bar + the yellow clinique gel lotion.

Also, if you feel like your skin is getting too parched, you might want to ask the clinique girls about switching your toner to a milder one (Like Clarifying Lotion #2).

Oh ya, and their makeup remover is the best/gentlest i've ever used.

/end me being a clinique spokes person. lol.
    happy bday!

  3. Looks like you did well! I use the clinique 3 step treatment too. I really like the pink hoodie. Such a nice colour. That ring is so nice.
    Feel better soon!

  4. im so feeling that
    mac set boo ;)

Much love. x
