Easter Week

Last week was a little tumultuous for me. Ups and downs galore. First off, I was ill, so I couldn't go to one of my friend's garden party which sounded, and looked amazing. Second off, I got told on Tuesday I had a job interview for a weekend job the next day. Which I didn't get :@ but then... I got offered another job working in the Kirsty Doyle shop in the Bluecoat Chambers in Liverpool which is soooo exciting! I can't wait!

Yesterday, me, my Mum, and my Dog went to Frodsham, which is a little cute village in Cheshire. There was this amazing place which sold all kinds of antiques, vintage jewelry, clothing, furniture... I literally could have spent sooo much in there. There is no other feeling than walking into an Aladdin's cave of treasures, just knowing that you are going to buy something from there. The excitement of walking around, turning on your Magpie trait and keeping your eye out for all things shiny..

I am almost tempted not to put this photo up because of the state of my nails, but I just had to show you this "ring." I put ring in speechmarks because it is actually a lipstick holder and mirror! But the lipstick holder fits over ones finger so well, and looks much better than prettying up your lippie! Ring/Lipstick holder £2

I also bought a tan leather satchel/saddle bag which smells divine (how lovely does real leather smell) anyway, it was in really good condition, it's a perfect size and i've wanted a little leather bag exactly like that for ages.
I did buy a few other things, such as a blue sequined top, a little tiny perfume bottle, which I intend to make into a pendent, some little bits n bobs of jewelry and some fabric, as I have recently unearthed my sewing machine. woop woop.

  1. Congrats on the new job. That ring is great. Ooh, blue sequined top. You'll have to model that one soon.

  2. Ah thanks hun! I'll put some photos up of it soon! Have a great day! x

Much love. x
