Oh dear.. It's not a very good sign when your last post was just a carbon copy of the one you're typing.

Ah well. We're three weeks in to the year and I'm four posts deep. Five if you count this one. I'm sure that's a better speed than I was at this time LY.

New Years Resolutions

One of the NYR's I wanted to try and make was to be more efficient at saving money. I started saving towards the end of last year and because of this, I didn't get crazy deep into credit card for Christmas. So I'm trying this year again to put away a certain amount each month and hopefully I will have a nice little amount by the end of the year.

I had my upper wisdom teeth out this week and I just wanted to let y'all know, if you need to get it done, please do not worry about it at all. It was totally fine. I had zero pain (touch wood it doesn't kick in soon) and very minor swelling. Don't worry about it. If you know you have to get it done and you're just putting it off, just go for it. It's not that bad.

We're on week 3 of 4 of the climbing course and I'm looking forward to finishing it. It's a lot of fun and I'd like to continue when I'm finished but there's just this mental block before we get there, like why the f'ck do we not want to go.

Pink Soda

In the spirit of exercise, I received a ton of awesome stuff from Pink Soda this week which I'm really looking forward to trying on and trying out.

This was kinda a lame weekly round-up. Nothing that much exciting happened I guess. Here's to an exciting week next week!

Another Sunday another round up. Saying that like I do this often.

This week's been a bit of a mad one, first week back in work, getting used to long days in a new routine I'm trying to get myself into.

Dental Werk
One of my "resolutions" I wanted to start the new year with was getting things done that I needed to. Number one on my list of things to do was go to the dentist. I don't know why, but I've been putting it off for years. I just haven't been. I'm not scared or anything, just didn't want to go. Anyway, I went and it turns out my teeth are in pretty good shape; no cavities, no issues, but, my wisdom teeth are growing in at an angle so this week I've gotta go and get them all taken out. I'm not too worried about it, in fact I'm quite happy I'll be getting them sorted but I'm anxious to see how squirrel-like my cheeks will be next weekend.

Making a Murderer
Along with the rest of the world, I got hooked on Making a Murderer. I nailed the whole series in about 2 days. It was legit binge watching for me. I hated how unfair everything seemed for Steven Avery. I just hope the truth comes out in the end. After watching that, I now need something more uplifting and positive so if anybody has any Netflix recommendations feel free to

21 Day Challenge
I wrote about the Nike 21 Day Challenge earlier this week and I'm proud to say I've been sticking to it. It's pretty simple and it really is just about getting yourself into a routine. There are only three short workouts a week to do - two NTC workouts and one small run. Last week was for 10 minutes. It's pretty good!

OMG highlight of the week maybe?? I went to see it yesterday on IMAX 3D and it was absolutely amazing, like I would legit go again. I love Kylo Ren and a part of me wants him to get together with Rey. Is that like blasphemy? I don't know - I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I saw the episodes that came out in the late 90s, but none of the early ones. Like I said, legit gonna go again.

May the force be with you.

Nike Women 21 Days of Better For It Challenge

In the spirits of yesterday's blog post, where I briefly touched upon trying to get fit for 2016 and also writing more Blog posts, for that matter, I thought I'd share with you a work-out plan which I'll be trying to stick to for the next three weeks.

Nike Women have created the 21 Days of Better For It Challenge, which actually kicks off tomorrow (eek) and is linked to the Nike Training Club App. You just take a lil quiz here to find out which is going to be the best training schedule for you, then follow the steps and it is added to your calendar on your phone, so you know what work-out you have to do each day. It looks pretty cool, so I'm looking forward to it starting it.

The first workout is only 14 minutes long, so I'm happy about that, hopefully it eases you in to harder workouts. The training schedule I got was "Progress not Perfection" which I suppose is a kind way of saying "beginner."

Ah well. Gotta start somewhere, hey.

All info on the 21 Day Challenge is here.

Weekly Roundup 2016 #1

Even though I've been doing this blog for over... 7 years, I've never done like a weekly favourites or a weekly roundup. I used to do a little series called Hots or Nots but that didn't really have much sticking power.

So I thought I'd see if I could stick to doing this post, once a week.

Let's see how it goes.

Sonos Play 1

Funny that my number one fave thing from the past week is a music system, but it really has changed my life. I bought the Sonos Play 1 with some Christmas money I got for Christmas. I was looking for any kind of wireless speakers really and the Sonos stand was the first I saw in John Lewis.
It's pretty easy to set up, amazing sound quality and a nice size. Only downside is that you can't input any other sources (can't listen to a movie on my laptop and play it through the speakers) which sucks a bit, but ah well.

Outlet Shopping

When I go back to Liverpool for Christmas, my family and I always like to visit Cheshire Oaks and go to the Nike store. This year it was better than ever. I managed to pick up a couple of pieces from the NikeLab x Sacai collection for crazy cheap. I got a jumper (which I had in my basket - glad I didn't buy it!) and a dress. No doubt I'll be featuring the pieces on the blog in the next coming weeks so y'all can see.

Attempting to get fit for 2016

I put on a fair amount of weight over the past year, a stone to be exact >.< My boyfriend is always moaning at me saying, Lauren come for a run with me. Like, I like running, but on my own - I'm not good at running with people. Especially him, he's a good runner. So to kinda tick off a few boxes, I signed us up for indoor climbing lessons and I just got back from the first one. It went well, I'm not bad at climbing, but the thing I'm not good at, is belaying. I'm just not good at coordinating my hands. I got it in the end anyway. I'm looking forward to the next lessons and think it'll be a nice little Sunday evening activity to do. We're going to the Klimhal in Sloterdijk, doing the four week beginners course. Check out the site for more info.

Rodial stemcell super-food glam balm

Woash what a mouthful. I got this from the You Magazine Advent calendar that my mum gets me every year (thanks Mozzy) and I bloody love it. It's lovely to use instead of lipbalm, and you can also use it on dry skin.  I've had a few things from Rodial before and I just love the packaging; it's super premium and super simple. Wonderful.

Christmas at home

I know technically, this wasn't within the past week but I've been at home for the past two weeks celebrating Christmas and New Years with my lovely family in Liverpool. It's something I look forward to every year, counting down the days with my mum every morning on text from about 30 sleeps out (no, seriously.) Being at home is so good. Living away in another country really makes you appreciate and love the time that you get to spend with your family. Not sure who reads this really from my family but much love to my Mum, Dad, Paul, Lee, Coco & Lola xxx

That's it for now. I have every intention to keep posting in 2016, as I really let it slip last year. Positive posting from now on.

P.S Sorry for no images - my camera is charging. Promise some next week :*
